(Winknews.com)COLLIER COUNTY – Wink News cameras were rolling as the Executive Director of the teacher’s union is arrested for a DUI.

Deputies say 43-year-old Jonathan Tuttle flipped his green suv on Goodlette Frank road Monday night.

Tuttle told deputies a dog ran in front of his car and he lost control. But, deputies didn’t buy his story. They gave him a field sobriety test and arrested him.

The Sheriff’s Office says this is Tuttle’s second DUI since 2007.

We tried to get a comment from Tuttle at his home, but there was no answer. We also asked the teacher’s union about Tuttle’s multiple dui arrests, but got no comment.

The school district says Tuttle once taught high school history, but has not been employed as a teacher for years.

School Board member Richard Calabrese told us by phone that Tuttle was always professional in his presence.
